Outside Sales Rep. - Midwest Trading - Virgil, IL

  • Sales & Market development of all products and services offered by Midwest Trading.
  • To exceed the expectations of both internal and external customers while supporting the budgeted sales and profitability.
Essential Responsibilities:
Plan sales activities efficiently and report results weekly.
Build long-term relationships with customers and prospects through regular sales visits and effective communication.
Meet or exceed yearly sales and profit goals.
Provide excellent customer service.
Participate in opportunities with professional industry associations to promote Midwest Trading products and services.
Attend trade shows and industry events as directed and on own initiative.
Customer concerns and conflict resolution as needed.
Preferred Experience:
2 - 5 years of experience in the horticultural industry, landscaping and/or customer service
Knowledge & Skills Required:
Proficiency with data systems, Excel and Word
Desired Skills:
Good organizational skills
Good communication skills
Good feedback, reward and disciplinary skills
Must have a valid driver's license
