Building Bridges - Assuring Design Intent Through Purposeful Plant Procurement
This webinar explores how early collaboration between landscape architects, contractors, and nursery growers can protect design intent and improve project outcomes. Too often, planting plans are compromised by time pressures, limited availability, and late-stage substitutions. By involving growers at the beginning of the design process, teams gain access to real-time availability insights, species expertise, and guidance that supports aesthetic, functional, and ecological goals. Attendees will learn practical strategies for integrating growers into project planning, reducing delays, improving plant performance, and creating landscapes that more faithfully reflect the original vision and thrive long-term.
