IGIA’s InVigorateU show is happening January 18 and 19, 2022 at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Bloomington, IL. InVigorateU is an annual event, with great speakers, CEU opportunities, and a chance to catch up with and learn from other industry professionals.
In addition, Midwest Groundcovers’ Nikki Melin, Sales Operations Manager, and Shannon McEnerney, Marketing Manager, will be speaking on native plants: “Taming the Wild: Natives for the Residential Landscape” The movement to support the environment with native plants continues to gain momentum every year. While often considered “wild” and “unwieldy”, Nikki and Shannon will share examples from the Midwest Native Gardens that showcase options for low profile native plants that can be used in a traditional garden setting. Learn about native plants that are both aesthetically pleasing and can be used in manageable combinations in a residential garden.

iLandscape is happening February 2 to 4, 2022 at the Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center in Schaumburg, Illinois. It is put on by Illinois Landscape Contractors Association (ILCA), and is billed as the show for today’s landscape professional! With educational events, a trade show, parties, and music, it’s sure to be a great time! And don’t miss Midwest Groundcovers’ Nikki Melin, speaking on a panel titled “Hidden Treasures: Plants You Should Use More Often” along with Kevin McGowen from Kaknes Landscape Supply and Mike Mennenoh from Mariani Plants. Don’t design with and plant the same-old, same-old—try some underutilized gems.
