Prior to joining the Midwest team, Carrington had nearly ten years of experience in the green industry, having held positions in greenhouses, garden centers, and floral shops. She oversaw staff as an Associate Manager at a garden center in Des Moines, Iowa where she managed customer service, plant care, and inventory replenishment. Carrington spent summer internships at places like Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens in Boothbay, Maine and Reiman Gardens in Ames, Iowa.

Carrington has worked in many of the sales departments during her time at Midwest, from U-PICK to Inside Sales to Outside Sales. She’s also an Illinois Certified Nursery Professional specializing in Perennials.
