Mary Stewart
Mary Stewart began working for Midwest Groundcovers in 1997 as an Inventory Coordinator and later became the Comptroller. She retired earlier this year after serving as the Comptroller for nearly 2 decades. Mary said, “During my 20 plus years at Midwest Groundcovers, I found the opportunities for personal growth and career advancement to have been extraordinary.”
Over the years, Mary learned how to be successful in the industry through ongoing formal training and education opportunities. Additionally, she attributes her successful career to the daily informal interactions she had with horticulture experts, as well as Midwest’s valued relationships with its suppliers, customers, and employees which provided a positive environment for continued career growth and development.
