Japanese Painted Fern

Bluish-gray foliage with hints of burgundy or maroon. Prefers moist well-drained soil. Plants that receive too much sun or not enough moisture will suffer leaf scorch. Chosen plant of the year by the Perennial Plant Association in 2004.
