Narcissus 'Dutchmaster'
Narcissus, Daffodil, Jonquil
‘Dutchmaster’ has 4 1/2″ rich yellow flowers that appear in mid spring on 18″+ stems. This variety is a Trumpet Narcissus meaning that it has one of the largest trumpets of all Narcissus. The trumpet is equal to or longer than the petals or perianth segments that surround it. Also, Trumpet Narcissus produce one flower per stem. Narcissus will grow in full shade, part shade or full sun and prefers well-drained soil. Foliage should not be cut back until it turns brown -allowing enough time for the bulb to “absorb” adequate energy for the next years flower production. Planting depth: 5″ to 8″. Space bulbs 1″ to 6″ apart.
